This episode sparked a contemplative thought about how I floundered with my unique creative work back in 1986/87. My unique work was to heal with my hands. Going to massage school was being on the correct path. It was a very intentional path. As I began to work with people..my hands would heat up and move on their own to a place on the body that needed healing. They would stop and the energy would pour out of them. It felt like what Alka Selzer looks like.
A furious frizzing. And I would close my eyes and actually see inside of that person..like an x ray vision. This went on for months until I became involved with a guy who was full of his self and could not be there for my emotional needs. I did not understand these things until later. The entire experience knocked me off balance.
To make a long story short..what happens now is that I pick up negative energy from who ever is around, unconsciously, and I convert it...I can feel it leaving my system. It is like a wave leaving me.
I must have nature around me and get in water. Baths are important.
It is not something that one can get paid for. Money is irrelevant with this kind of healing. I trust in the goodwill of our much greater cosmic universe to watch over and take care of me. It is not something g that money can buy. I live modestly, yet love being creative in all things physical. I do my best in giving people truthful information as this is what I did not have when making choices back in the 80's. If I would have had it..I probably would be more like an ancient traditional healer. Oh wellll..maybe next time I will be more savvy.
Energy flows are acknowledged by science, but difficult to research and quantify so not appreciated. How energy enters our life, our being, and gets sucked away is a lot of what makes relationships work or not work.
As I say on the front page of my website, "Some paths, some work, some people give you energy, and some take it away." That comes from the great Cervantes quote, "There are many pathways in this life and it doesn't matter which one you take, for they all have a common destination, and that is the grave. But some paths give you energy and some take it away."

My most popular posts explore the themes of peace, serenity, harmony. And these have their place. Gratitude is a worthy philosophy of life.
My least popular challenge belief systems, and, in effect, ask people if they are wasting the gift of life in favor of repetition, comfort. Similarly, in creative work, are we willing to push our comfort zone in search of what is really deep? Most would rather not deal with that question.
My publication, my work, is increasingly in search of creatives wanting to explore their deepest deep. There will be a transition as I find this audience. Nothing important happens -- quality work, a quality life -- without sacrifice.
What sells however is six easy answers. No fuss, no muss, no sacrifice.
