I am trying to find the inner direction now. This is very helpful. I get frustrated because I want a clear way forward and a vision but instead I have to surrender more and more of myself. On another note a few artists I admire who found the beauty where they lived were Andrew Wyeth, Andre Tarkovsky ( filmmaker) Robert Frost, Emily Brontë . Such beauty on the farm, the building, the woods and the moors. No running off to NYC to be an artist. I am trying to find this where I am too.
